We thought it would be useful to provide you with a snapshot of the
current ISO standards that we are accredited against – and have done so since
2007:
ISO27001:2005 – Information
Security Management
The ISO 27000 family of standards helps keep information assets
secure. It helps manage the security of
assets, such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details
or information entrusted to us by third parties.
With many of our clients operating in the mortgage lending and
financial management space, this is a vital ISO standard and demonstrates our
commitment to information security and control.
ISO9001:2008 (Quality
Management)
The ISO 9000 family addresses a number of aspects relating to quality
management. They provide guidance and tools for companies like us who want to
ensure that our products and services consistently meet our customers’
requirements and that quality is consistently improved.
ISO14001:2004 (Environmental
Management)
The ISO 14000 family addresses various aspects of environmental
management, providing practical tools that help organisations like us to
identify and control our environmental impact and constantly improve
environmental performance. ISO 14001:2004 specifically focuses on environmental
management systems.
Each
of the standards are being updated in turn- ISO27001 was updated last year,
ISO9001 coming this year and ISO14001 intended for an update next year.
Landmark will be continuing to commit to recertification against these updated
standards, as and when they become available, so watch this space for updates
on our achievements.
